I Won Green Builder Of The Year

Posted by on in Sean Press

Exactly two weeks ago I attended the 2015 BILD Awards. I’m excited to share with all of you that I won two awards: Best E-mail Marketing Piece, and Green Builder Of The Year. If you know my background, and/or you’ve been following along with the progress of my smart townhome community here in Barrie, you’ll recognize why this was such a big win for me.

It was a great night for BAM. Our client Sean Mason Homes won two BILD GTA awards, including Low-Rise Green Builder of the Year!

As I’ve discussed here over the past year, I’m completely committed to leading the way in green, sustainable construction here in Barrie. My homes are built with low VOC materials, high performance heating and ventilation systems, and are ENERGY STAR qualified. They are close to parks and city amenities, are walkable and pedestrian-friendly. They even come with rain barrels to help preserve water. In short, they are better, healthier homes for you – and your family.

It’s a humbling feeling to know that not only the homebuyers, but also the best of the best in my industry appreciated the hard work that went into bringing my vision to fruition. I led Mason Homes to be the first ENERGY STAR standard builder in Canada and won BILD’s Green Builder of the Year award twice in the past – but this award is extra special for me. I’m elated by all the support and positive feedback I’ve received, and overwhelmed with excitement as I prepare for the upcoming second phase of my community. It’s been an amazing ride, and I’m happy to have been able to share it with all of you up to this point.
