Our Barrie homes: Seven Layouts, Unlimited Possibilities

Posted by on in Sean Style

I recently updated my website with a full site plan, which you can now see once you register. As you’ll instantly notice there are seven different home styles for you to choose from – each with a different layout to fit your lifestyle. Fresh, Comfort, Savvy, Active, Smooth, Cool and Shift all range in size from 1276–1692 sq. ft. They also start at just $224,990, which is an amazing price when compared to other homes of this size/quality.

I’d like to draw your attention to the community space on the site plan – this is something I discussed back in August when I posted about walkability. If you remember, I described walkability as a combination of all the elements that make up a community – the sidewalks and streets, the architecture, common spaces, green spaces and most importantly, the people. I really wanted to preserve trees and create lovely and functional green spaces not only because it adds to the aesthetics of your home/neighbourhoods but also because these common spaces bring people together.

Did you know that I led Mason Homes to be the first ENERGY STAR standard builder in Canada? I’ve won BILD’s Green Builder of the Year award twice – green is a standard in my book. You deserve a happy, healthy home. All my homes are ENERGY STAR-qualified; offer rain barrels to further reduce water needs and offer high performance heating ventilation systems, filters and low VOC materials – among other features designed to save you money and lower your eco footprint.

Update (October 9, 2014):

I wanted to add a few exciting new updates about my site design. I'm going to be adding an off-leash dog park to my smart town community during the initial phase of construction. As well, a children's play area is being designed for the second phase of construction – complete with play structure. I believe that these additions to the neighbourhood will create a greater possibility for social interaction between members of the community, while adding additional benefit to families with small children and pet owners.
